The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas, Missouri
In 1999 Steven Holl architects renovated the Bloch Building in translucent crystalline blocks
adding the perfect modern complement to the original Neoclassic museum. He described the blocks as "lenses" that would draw light into the galleries inside.
